You can make a difference
Elect a new boss Nov. 3

District Council 37 needs volunteers Nov. 3 to help elect Democrat Bill Thompson the next mayor of New York City.

“We need a mayor for all New Yorkers, not just the rich. Bill Thompson respects municipal employees and unions. He knows that this time of crisis puts tremendous pressure on working families, seniors and young people,” said DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts. “New Yorkers need public services and secure jobs — not more layoffs.”

On Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3, you can support your union by volunteering and voting. Volunteer to help get out the vote, and bring friends and family who are registered voters to the polls to elect Bill Thompson as mayor, Bill de Blasio as public advocate and John Liu as comptroller (see complete list).

To volunteer, just return the coupon. You will work with DC 37 members, retirees and thousands of other union members citywide to bring change to City Hall and your community.

“We are in a unique position where we can elect our next boss on Nov. 3,” Roberts said. “Bill Thompson and DC 37 are working together for a better future for our children and our city. With your help, we will win.”
