Boy Scouts honor Maf Misbah Uddin

DC 37 Treasurer and Local 1407 President Maf Misbah Uddin was the recipient of the "Good Scout" award from the Greater New York Councils, Boy Scouts of America.

Uddin received the award at the 31st annual labor luncheon hosted by the Boy Scouts on Oct. 13 at Club 101 in Manhattan.
Uddin was honored for his long-time work and dedication to the goals of the Boy Scouts of America. Local 1359 President Dennis Ifill presented the award.

"I'm very proud to receive this recognition from the Boy Scouts," said Uddin at the luncheon. "They do great work with the young men of America."

Marvin Holland, political and legislative director of Transit Workers Local 100, was also honored at the luncheon.
