9/11 Workers and Volunteers!

Register Now to Protect Your Right to
Workers’ Compensation Benefits

Go to www.dc37.net

Protect your future,
register now!

You must act soon.
Registration closes on September 13, 2010.

If you miss this deadline,
you will not be eligible for benefits or medical care provided by workers’ compensation for 9/11 illnesses.

If you did paid or unpaid rescue, recovery or clean-up work in Lower Manhattan during the year after 9/11, you may be eligible for medical and wage replacement benefits — but only if you register first with the New York State Workers’ Compensation Board!

If you lived or volunteered in clean-up areas

  • anywhere in Lower Manhattan south of Canal or Pike Streets, or
  • on the barge operation between Lower Manhattan and Staten Island, or
  • at the Staten Island landfill, or
  • at the New York City morgue,
    AND
  • you were exposed;
  • your claim has been denied;
  • You have filed a successful claim but you haven’t filed a workers’ compensation claim;
    You need to REGISTER!

Registering now will preserve your right to file a workers’ compensation claim for a 9/11-related disorder—no matter when it develops in the future.

For complete information, visit www.dc37.net or call 212-815-1685.
