Solidarity rally for health care

District Council 37 health care workers supported the Doctor's Council in an Oct. 29 rally at Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn that demanded more adequate staff, improved patient care and greater respect for hospital workers.

Participants included Carmen Charles, president of Municipal Hospital Employees Union Local 420, Fitz Reid, president of Health Services Employees Local 768, and Judith Arroyo, president of the United Federation of Nurses and Epidemiologists Local 436.
