'Ask a Lawyer Night' a big hit

Union members took advantage of the popular "Ask a Lawyer Night," organized by Municipal Employees Legal Services.

Highly trained attorneys from MELS gave a presentation Nov. 4 on various topics ranging from dealing with landlords, writing a will, bankruptcy problems and immigration status issues.

After the presentation by the attorneys, members had an opportunity to sit down with a MELS lawyer for an individual consultation to discuss their specific issue.
