Black History Month events at the union

Mon. The Journey Continues
The DC 37 Black History Committee (BHC) will kick off its 23rd annual
celebration of Black History Month with an opening night ribbon-cutting
ceremony. A special guest speaker from Harlems Schomberg Library
will discuss the African burial grounds of lower Manhattan and the evening
will feature dance, music and soul-stirring drummers. Refreshments will
be served.

The DC 37 BHC will host Family Day featuring fun activities including
story telling, games, face painting and workshops for parents and their

live drummers, entertainment and refreshments.
