February is Black History Month. The DC 37 Black History Committee’s calendar of events at the union is on page 9.

The DC 37 Irish Heritage Committee will hold its annual celebration March 5 from 5:30 to 9:30 p.m. On March 12, the committee will sell Irish soda bread and glasses in the union lobby, and on March 17 they will march in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade. The SSEU Local 371 Women’s Committee will present a Women’s History Month program at 6:30 p.m., Wednesday, March 10 at Local 371, 817 Broadway, 12th floor. For more information, call Helen Wilson at 212-777-9000, ext. 3053.

Save the date, March 18 at 6 p.m. for the DC 37 Women’s Committee’s annual Women’s History Month celebration. For more information, call 212-815-1989.

The DC 37 Caribbean Heritage Committee is offering the panel discussion, “The Contributions of Caribbean Women,” by a group of distinguished Caribbean women who will examine contributions in religion, politics, health, education and government at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 26 at DC 37.
