Hey kids! Enter this essay contest: Does diversity
matter? If you are between 12 and 17, write an essay
of no more than 500 words, answering the question: Why is diversity important
in our schools? You could win $500 in cash!
Are you under 12? Answer the
question in your own words. Submit your statement of 250 words or less. You could
win $250.
Send your entries by March 30 to the National Campaign to Restore

Whatever
age you are, please send a copy of your statement to Editor, Public Employee Press,

of your parent or grandparent who is a DC 37 member or retiree.
The campaign
is a progressive, nonpartisan effort to connect people and groups who are deeply
concerned about the destruction of our civil rights in the federal courts. Participants
include a broad nationwide network of students, community activists, trade unionists,
