The Irish Heritage Committee will hold its annual celebration Friday, March 7, from 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. On March 14, the committee will be selling Irish soda bread and glasses in the union lobby, and members will march in the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on March 17. On March 11, the Women’s Committee will dedicate its Women’s History Month exhibit, “Salute to DC 37 Women Leaders Past and Present,” to the late Louise DeBow, former Local 420 secretary, and Joan Reed, former president of Local 2054. The display will be on the ground floor through March 31. The committee will also hold a bake sale fundraiser in the lobby on March 27.

The Citizenship and Caribbean Heritage committees will co-sponsor a forum on immigration and citizenship issues on March 26. For more information, click here or call Citizenship Committee Chair Cuthbert Dickenson at 212-815-1060 or Rita Chen See at 212-815-1661.

The Caribbean Heritage Committee will hold its annual ecumenical service Wednesday, April 2, at 6 p.m. On Saturday, June 14, the committee will hold its annual gala dinner dance at Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn; tickets are $80 and tables will be available.
