Outreach Program offers pre-retirement workshops

If you are thinking about retirement, then it is not too soon to start planning for it. The sooner you start, the better chance you will have for a successful retirement.

The Outreach Program of the DC 37 Health and Security Plan's Personal Service Unit has planned a three-session Pre-Retirement Seminar to address some of the questions members may have. These workshops will be scheduled from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in the spring.

Only union members who are entitled to DC 37 Health and Security Plan benefits are eligible to come to the pre-retirement seminars.

The areas that will be addressed at these workshops are pensions, health insurance and retiree benefits, Social Security, financial planning and legal issues in retirement.
