Staffer completes Harvard program

Barbara Ingram-Edmonds, DC 37 director of field operations, recently completed the Harvard Trade Union Program. The six-week training session at Harvard University bought together 45 union leaders from around the world to the Boston campus. "We had union activists who came from Great Britain and Australia and all over the United States," Edmonds said.

The Harvard Trade Union Program was established in 1942 to help train the next generation of union leaders. The students are offered courses in labor law, global economics, strategic planning and organizing. The 2017 session was the 75th offered by the program.
