WTC Workers and Volunteers
Free medical screening program ends

If you were a worker or volunteer at or near the World Trade Center disaster site or the Staten Island Landfill after the Sept. 11 2001 terrorist attack and you were involved in rescue, recovery, cleanup, restoration of essential services or debris removal or sifting, you may be eligible for thorough, free, federally-funded medical screening.

But the program closes July 1, 2003. So don’t wait, call the toll-free hotline at 888-702-0630.

You can also contact the DC 37 Safety and Health Dept. at (212) 815-1685 if you have questions or need more information.
