New DC 37 Vice President

Joan Reed, president of College Assistants Local 2054, was elected as a vice president and Executive Board member of DC 37 at the April 18 Delegates Council meeting. She was elected at large by the delegates from the 51 locals that do not individually represent 5 percent of the total DC 37 membership. Ms. Reed has been local president for 32 years and is one of DC 37’s two AFSCME International VPs.
