The
Education Committee will hold a scholarship fundraiser, An Evening
of Jazz, Rhythm and Blues, on May 8 at the South Street Seaports elegant
Sequoia Restaurant on Pier 17 from 6 to 10 p.m. Admission is $100. For information

The Health and
Nutrition Committee will present the film Super Size Me on May
19 at 6 p.m.
This years DC 37 Jewish Heritage Committee program
will be a celebration of Israels 60th anniversary, which is scheduled at
union headquarters for Thursday, June 5, in Room 1, beginning at 5:30 p.m. The
celebration will include lively music, kosher food and guest speakers.
To
kick off Gay Pride month, the DC 37 LAGIC committee will host a tribute
to founding member Regina Shavers at its opening reception on Friday, June 6,
beginning at 6 p.m.
The DC 37 Asian Heritage Committee will hold
its annual celebration at 6 p.m. on Friday, June 6.
The Latino Heritage
Committee is organizing a DC 37 contingent to march in this years Puerto
Rican Day Parade on Sunday June 8.
DC 37 Caribbean Heritage Committee
invites all members and their families to their annual gala on Saturday June 14
from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at Grand Prospect Hall in Brooklyn. Tickets are $80. To
