DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts (center) and Political Director Wanda Williams (right) met March 31 with Nancy Pelosi, the Democratic minority leader of the U.S. House of Representatives, to discuss women's issues and campaign strategy. They got together at the Women's Issues Conference of the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee, which included panel discussions on women's role in the economy and on the effect of the Affordable Care Act on health care in the United States. "We have our work cut out for us to protect the ACA, which has brought health coverage to more than 8 million previously uncovered Americans, from the constant Republican attempts to repeal it," said Roberts.
