Local 1321 and the union’s three other library locals, New York Public Library Guild Local 1930, Quasi-Public Employees Local 374 and Brooklyn Public Library Local 1482 dispatched activists to urge their City Council members to support a campaign for $65 million of additional funding for operations and $1.1 billion for a 10-year capital plan for the city’s three public library systems.
