Employee Press Wage
talks to resume June 3 The union and the city will resume
bargaining on June 3 for a new economic agreement covering more than 100,000 members.
In
the new contract, the union is pressing for a fair, equitable and living wage.
The unions demands also include preserving health benefits and increasing
the citys contribution to the welfare fund, which covers the prescription
drug and other union benefits.
The old economic contract expired March
2, but its conditions remain in effect as bargaining continues. | |
