June
is Caribbean Heritage Month, and the DC 37 Caribbean Heritage Committee will
start things in style with a ribbon-cutting ceremony June 2 at 6 p.m. in the gallery

LAGIC, DC 37s Lesbian and Gay Issues Committee
will kick off Gay Pride Month at 6 p.m. June 3 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony
on the first floor at DC 37. For information, call Committee Chair Judith Arroyo

DC 37s Municipal Employees Housing Program will
present its annual Housing Fair June 24 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more

Sept. 12: The DC 37 Education Committee will hold
its annual Scholarship Awards Luncheon, 1-6 p.m.
Sept. 13:
The DC 37 Latino Heritage Committee will celebrate Latino Heritage Month,
starting with an opening night program on Sept. 13 and concluding with a finale
event Oct. 8.
Oct. 2: The DC 37 Womens Committee will
hold a conference. More information will be in later issues of the PEP.
Oct.
10: Fright Fest at Six Flags, sponsored by DC 37s Public Service
Employees Care Foundation. Tickets will go on sale at the union in July. See July-Aug.
