COMING EVENTS

All events are held at 6 p.m. at DC 37, 125 Barclay St. in Manhattan, unless otherwise noted.

The Lesbian and Gay Issues Committee will hold a ribbon-cutting June 1 to kick off Gay Pride Month. For more information, call LAGIC Co-chair Valentin Colon at 212-815-1930.

On June 6, the DC 37 Caribbean Heritage Committee will open Caribbean Heritage Month with a ribbon cutting and on June 7, the Caribbean Heritage and Citizenship committees will hold a men's health workshop. For more information, call Caribbean Heritage Co-chair Dennis Ifill at 212-815-1186.

On June 13, DC 37's Municipal Employees Housing Program will hold its annual Housing Fair from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information, please call MEHP at 212-815-1814.

On Father's Day, June 17, DC 37 members will join in a silent march to end the Bloomberg administration's "stop and frisk" policy, starting at 1 p.m. at 110th Street and Park Ave.

The Primary Election for members of Congress will be held on June 26. DC 37 endorsements are on page 17. Call 212-815-1550 for more information or to volunteer to help elect candidates who will fight for the needs of working people.
