Increases on service increments due in members' June 22 paychecks

Some DC 37 members will get a little extra in their paychecks on June 22.

The city failed to include the "service increments" in December when it raised other payments on top of base pay known as "additions to gross." The additions include longevity payments, assignment differentials, uniform allowances and service increments. The increases were required by the 2008-2010 economic agreement.

"A number of local leaders informed us that their members did not receive the additions on their service increments," said DC 37 Research and Negotiations Director Evelyn Seinfeld. "We reported the mistake, the city looked into the omissions and the money will be in the June 22 paychecks."
