Fight Back against the Bush Attack on working families

In his first six months in office, President Bush has declared war on working families.

  • His $1.4 trillion tax cut will give 40 percent of its rewards to the richest 1 percent of Americans while jeopardizing the funding needed for public services and jobs.

  • Bush scrapped ergonomic regulations aimed at preventing crippling wrist and back injuries that hit close to 1 million workers every year.

  • He wants to privatize Social Security, which would subject the retirement savings of working people to the wild fluctuations of the stock market.
