“Working New York” back on air

The New York State AFL-CIO has announced the second season of “Working New York,” its half-hour TV talk show on Regional News Network. “Working New York” is designed to inform the general public of issues and initiatives important to working men and women and their families.
The program airs the first and third Wednesday of each month on RNN, a broadcast network that currently reaches close to 5 million households in the tri-state area.

In New York, RNN is on cable and satellite systems from New York City to Long Island and the Hudson Valley and into the Albany area.
The first season of “Working New York” ran from September 2005 through September 2006. The response was overwhelming, and the show gained significant media attention and positive word of mouth.

All episodes from the first season, as well as a guide to cable and satellitelistings, can be found at the New York state AFL-CIO’s Web site, http://www.nysaflcio.org/working_newyork.htm.
