On a two-story high billboard over the Cross Bronx Expressway near 177th Street, widow Anna Antico tells of the day her husband never came home from work. Sponsored by the DOT, District Council 37 and Local 1455, the sign announcing Work Zone Awareness Week tells about Highway Repairer Nick Antico, a Local 376 member who was killed in 2005 when a driver crashed through his Staten Island worksite.
