Psychologists Local 1189 VP retires

Supervising Psychologist and Vice President of New York City Psychologists Local 1189 Dr. Dayle Schwarzler retired from her position with the Police Dept. She worked for the NYPD for 27 years and represented members for 21 years as a vice president.

"She has been a powerful and fearless advocate for the NYPD Psychologists," said local president Dr. Leonard Davidman.

As a psychologist, Dr. Schwarzler was responsible for leading teams of psychologists who administered a battery of tests to candidates wanting to join the NYPD.

Dr. Schwarzler was presented with a special plaque by the local president on May 25 at a retirement party at NYPD headquarters.
