New York Chapter of the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists will hold its
annual Scholarship Dinner Dance on Saturday, Sept. 8, from 6-11 p.m. at
the Alhambra Ballroom, 2116 Adam Clayton Powell Blvd. at 126th St. Tickets are

37 Education Committee invites you to its annual Scholarship Luncheon
on Sunday, Sept. 9, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Tickets for the event at Antuns

Heritage Committee is planning to celebrate Latino Heritage Month with
a series of events including panel discussions, entertaining cultural presentations
and programs offered by several locals. Opening night will be Monday, Sept. 10

pride in the African American Day Parade on Sunday, Sept. 16 in Harlem.
DC 37 Executive Director Lillian Roberts will be a grand marshal. DC 37 participants
will congregate at 2 p.m. at the corner of 112th Street and Adam Clayton Powell
Boulevard (East side). The DC 37 Italian Heritage Committee will
celebrate Italian Heritage Month beginning with an opening ceremony Oct.
11 at 6 p.m. in the lobby at union headquarters and its annual dinner on Nov.
