The DC 37 Latino Heritage Committee will celebrate Latino Heritage Month beginning with an opening ceremony Sept. 7; the finale will be on Oct. 19 and during the month there will be programs organized by locals and the committee, including a

This year's Labor Day Parade will be held on Saturday, Sept 8. See the back page of this PEP for more information.

The Black History Committee is organizing members to join Grand Marshal Lillian Roberts in the African American Day Parade on Sunday, Sept. 16 in Harlem. For more information call Committee Chair Deborah Pitts at 212-815-1113 or 212-815-1060 and look for fliers in the lobby.

The Latino Heritage Committee will celebrate Puerto Rican Heritage Week with an opening event on Nov. 13 and a finale Friday, Nov. 16.
