DC 37 endorses Hyndman, McMahon

Alicia Hyndman seeks to represent Southeast Queens in the New York State Assembly. Michael McMahon wants to serve as Staten Island's district Attorney.

DC 37 has endorsed Democratic candidates Alicia Hyndman in the 29th Assembly District and Michael McMahon in the Staten Island District Attorney races. Both candidates have distinguished themselves as dedicated and formidable leaders who have stood and will continue to stand up for working people.

"Alicia Hyndman is a bright and accomplished individual who has dedicated much of her life to her community," said DC 37 Executive Director Henry Garrido. "She is the kind of leader our members want and need in Albany."

"Michael McMahon is a tireless public servant who has fought inequality and injustice and has made it his mission to keep residents safe," said Garrido. "Mike will do what's right for all Staten Islanders."

The Democractic primary is Sept. 10.
