Note: increases in additions to gross will occur only on the 2016 raise.
Also, because this fiscal year contains a leap day, members may have noticed a slight decrease in their biweekly salary. This is because the City’s payroll office is spreading members’ annual salary over 366 days, instead of 365 days. Their computation is as follows: annual salary divided by 366 days to come up with a daily calendar rate, and then multiplied by 14 calendar days. In a regular year, the division is over 365 days.
