Employee Press The District Council 37 Black History Committee invites all members and their families to join in celebrating Black History Month. The ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, Feb.1, will focus on this years theme, The Real Us: Preserving Our History. Family Day on Sat., Feb. 9, will feature workshops from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. with registration starting at 9 a.m. The Get Your Money Right financial seminar is open to everyone looking to gain better control over their finances.Throughout the month, union locals will host cultural events, featuring live entertainment, films and guest speakers. So check the calendar below and be sure to attend Finale Night, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Fri., Feb. 29, for an exciting evening.
