Local helps member after her son dies

Fabian's 23-year-old son Eddie Perez died eight days after suffering severe injuries in an apparent arson on Nov. 8 in his apartment at the DeWitt Clinton public housing complex in East Harlem.

"All of us in the local are deeply saddened by the tragedy that Fabian has experienced," Rodriguez said. "As a union family, we wish to offer our support as she copes with her loss."
