Union treasurer receives labor award

DC 37 TREASURER and Local 1407 President Maf Misbah Uddin was the recipient of the annual Labor Award given to an outstanding union activist by the New York State Association of Black and Puerto Rican Legislators. The award was presented during their 45th annual Legislative Conference held during the weekend of Feb. 12-14 in Albany. The award was presented by Assemblywoman Michele R. Titus.

"I accept this award on behalf of all of the DC 37 members who work hard to provide services to all New Yorkers," said Misbah Uddin during the ceremony.
