Garrido advocates for healthcare

DC 37 Executive Editor Henry Garrido was honored for his support of public-health care services.

Local 1549 2nd Vice President Ralph Paladino presented Garrido with a public health award at the Commission on the Public's Health System's 25th annual Marshall England Memorial Public Health Awards Gala at the Adam Clayton Powell Jr. State Office Building in Manhattan on May 11.

CPHS is a community-based health advocacy organization that supports access to quality health-care services for all New Yorkers.
