Congress: 9th District DAVID I. WEPRIN Elected to the Assembly in 2010, Weprin has been on the front lines fighting to keep senior centers open and to restore funding for the public schools and the City University of New York. His father was the late Assembly Speaker Saul Weprin. State Assembly: 23rd District PHILLIP GOLDFEDER Goldfeder is a strong believer in serving his constituents and in bipartisanship. He plans to fight to eliminate the toll on the Cross Bay Bridge and create wellpaying jobs. The district covers Howard Beach, Ozone Park, Broad Channel and the Rockaways. State Assembly: 27th District MICHAEL SIMANOWITZ The Queens native has been a tireless advocate for district residents. Simanowitz has been instrumental in drafting important legislation strengthening drunkdriving laws and expanding health care for seniors. For the last 15 years he has served as chief of staff for Assembly member Nettie Mayersohn. City Council: 28th District RUBEN WILLS A strong health care advocate, Wills fought against closing the Veteran's Administration Hospital in St. Albans and Mary Immaculate Hospital in Jamaica. Wills began his career as special assistant to City Council member Leroy Comrie and served as chief of staff to state Senator Shirley Hunter. Manhattan

He ran a free legal clinic for tenants, volunteered at Community Board 8, worked with the Second Avenue Subway Taskforce and led a campaign to keep class sizes small that gathered more than 3,000 signatures on a petition.
