Local 299 awards scholarships

Local 299 honored the memory of Fire Chaplain Mychal Judge, who was the first recorded victim of the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks, with a college scholarship fund in his honor. Schuyler Ross, Justin Dixon and Sanjoda Begum, were the recipients of the first three scholarships. They each received $1,000.
